The Fly

I created this video using After Effects and Photoshop. I began to edit an image of me, by cutting out the eyes, mouth and eyebrows. I had to make several layers for my eyes, such as the eye lids, the eye ball and the back of the eye (the skin). I did this so that I could make my eyes move around following a fly which would also be buzzing around the video. I created the fly by created the wings in a seperate composition flapping back and forward, where then I copied this composition several times to make it look like a real fly. After this I made the fly, fly around the video and move my eyes to follow it. At the end of the video and used and effect to make the fly look like it was shot by and laser and burned in thin air.

3d Effect

This animation was created in Adobe After Effects CS4 and was made to have a 3D effect in it. I turned the background image, which I took with my camera in Germany, and turned it into a 3D layer. I then turned the car and the writing into a 3D layer and added a drop shadow on it to make it look as if it is on the road. After editing the video, I then added car sounds and crash sounds to make it more effective.

After Effects

I need to add sound to this video. I created this effect using photoshop, where i had to cut out different parts of the face and add them to new layers. I then saved the file and opened it in after effects were i manipulated the movement of the layers, it was mostly the eyes which i moved and the fly and its wings.

Attempt3

The writing should not be added in. I added a shadow effect to the animation and a background. This gives a better effect and a big improvement from attempt 2.

Attempt2

This is my first attempt using after effects, messing around with the composition and layers. I drew out one box and then we added different effects so that it would fade and rotate and change opacity and then go back to its original shape, but because of the opacity and the colour the final colour is black.

In this video i messed around with shapes, by creating a man and making his arms and legs move as he is kicking the ball.
